North West Wedding Photographer: The Winners 2011

My Apologies for taking a while in getting this shot up, with Paul working abroad and Jayne now being an international jet setter, it’s been tough to get everyone together.

But on Thursday evening we managed to do just that. I called round with their prize for the 2011 Review. Jayne picked the image and I had this wonderful Di-Wall Art made for them. I love it, and I was a little reluctant to hand it over.

It was great to catch up with the happenings of Jayne and Paul, a real great couple.

Cheshire Wedding Photography: Peckforton Castle Nicola and David

Saturday 20th March, I teamed up with my good buddy Tony Fanning to shoot a Wedding.

Working with Tony is always great fun, and this wedding was no exception, even though we were stuck indoors pretty much all day due to the weather, it was wet!!!

I started the day with Dave and his groomsmen, what a laugh we had, they were so funny. Dave was busy trying to finish getting some songs for the wedding transfered to his ipod, but the darned thing crashed and panic soon followed, luckily his iphone was working fine and could do the job….pheeeeew.

Dave carried on getting ready and I thought he was losing his mind when he started putting on a second pair of socks…..aaaaah Cold Feet I thought (see what I did there) but he was just stopping his new shoes from rubbing too much. I got all the guys to attempt ‘Blue Steel’ from Zoolander, sadly not all of them had seen Zoolander and found the suggestion and demo rather amusing, well played on the guys who done it though.

The Wedding went beautifully, and as it’s a castle each room as about 4 doors so I could get round to different angles during the ceremony pretty easily. Whilst Tony was shooting some formals, myself and the rest of the guests enjoyed a quick bird of prey display, most enjoyable.

Afterward Nic and Dave gave us loads of time, which lets us do our best work, Tony was setting up the lighting for a Bridal shot, I demonstrated the pose (if you follow me on facebook you’ll have seen these), but Nic pulls it off with much more elegance and grace.

I hope you enjoy the images.

Hello world!

I am moving my blog over to wordpress, it’s just a great place to be, and I can have beautifully big images.

So please bear with me whilst I play about folks, it will take a little while for me to resize the images and try a few new things.

But we’ll get there, and it will be awesome.

That is all, carry on.
