Cheshire Photographer: We went to the zoo zoo zoo

Thankfully we went Saturday and not Sunday, since it decided to rain yesterday, today doesn’t look much better.

I’d forgotten that as well as being a sunny day, it was also a members day, which means that there isn’t much room to move let alone see the more popular animals. We still had an amazing day, and being members ourselves we don’t feel like we have to see every animal in just one day…..you can usually spot the members as the ones who don’t look like they have covered virtually every inch of Chester Zoo in one day.

So yesterday we walked with the masses around the aquarium, lingering over the clown fish a little longer, much to Josh’s delight at seeing a real live Nemo fish. We steared clear of the bigger animals today, instead we took in the butterflies, and birds. The were just feeding the birds when we got there, which was pretty cool, and I managed to get some cool shots.

Josh really wanted his picture taken at the panel with a hole in, except he really wanted to make bird noises more, I was never going to get a normal shot, but the faces he is pulling in these shots are priceless.

We finished the day with a cook out (thats the B word, that I believe is bad luck to say…it brings the rain)

I hope y’all had an awesome weekend, what ever you got up to.

Take Care and enjoy the pics.

Maternity Shoot in Cheshire: Dave and Karly

Welcome dear blogites, I posted a teaser shot the other day and a few people wanted to see more of Dave and Karlys Maternity Shoot….and not being one to disappoint, here you go.

Dave isn’t really into having his picture taken, which is odd as he does like to be the centre of attention;)Now would be a good time to point out that Dave is my cousin, so I’m allowed to say that of him. But even though he doesn’t like having his picture taken, he understood the importance of becoming a dad and wanted some pictures of himself and Karly…..and I was more than happy to oblige.

We went up to one of my favourite locations, Runcorn Hill, not only does it have a great variety of things to shoot, but it is also, 5 minutes from where I live. Dave soon warmed up to having his picture taken and I think he quite liked it in the end, come on Davey admit it!!!

Karly was awesome, and as you will see, she Rocks her Bump, who is due in about 5 weeks. I can’t wait to be meet the little dude/dudette (they don’t know what they’re having, it’s a surprise), and hopefully, they will allow me to post some shots for you all to see.

Anyhow, on with the pictures, I think we can all agree (even though it pains me to admit is out loud), Dave and Karly are going to have one good looking kid!!

Wedding Photography in Cheshire: Jenna & Keith Eshoot

As you already know, on Sunday I met up with Jenna and Keith for their engagement shoot. Jenna used to go to Norton Priory School, as did I. I actually knew Jenna’s sister Nikki back in the day too, so it was great when Jenna contacted me on Facebook to see if I would shoot her wedding, and we’ve chatted wedding stuff most days since….in fact, Jenna is my facebook stalker.

We met up at the old school playing fields (the school has gone now, demolished….oh how we cheered), and had a blast shooting some images for them…..seriously, we laughed most of the way through the shoot.

Guys, I had a great time on Sunday, I can not wait for your wedding, when I know we will have an awesome day.
